I had the one of the two top floor units and it was plenty big and very well done. The bathroom might have been the size of the whole room. Even with its location the resteraunts around arent open super late so noise isnt an issue. Parking was difficult. It is literally find a street parking spot and pay (wasnt too bad on price) but your car is gonna be blocks from the accomodation most likely. Also check in and checkout are at a restaraunt. Greeted by lovely staff. Room was a compact double (our 4 yr old co sleeps with us anyway but this room size definitely wouldn’t work if not Co sleeping as room is not large enough to accommodate a pull out bed) Desk, TV, wardrobe and compact shower room Use of common room - fairly small for a hostel - dining table that seats 6 some taller bar tables, a sofa and bean bags. Communal fridge/sink, kettle, microwave and 2 burner hob (queues to use at busy periods and this was off season) Garden area - not set up when we visited in March but I’m sure a lovely space for summer. Great central location Excellent breakfast and choices Good coffee Would recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, it was far better than many of the private apartments we booked along our travels.
