"Outdoor pools and hot tub were not open. Staff were friendly. Room received thorough daily housekeeping. Continental breakfast was nice. Room required some minor work done on it, which was surprising based on rates which were higher than most in spite of off season.... Was not prepared for dresser drawers to be off track, the toilet roll holder to fall off or the bathroom hook to tilt and dump my toiletries all over the floor."

"This cute property has the potential but falls short. The staff was friendly and we were greeted promptly. The new manager(s?) need to make an ample amount of repairs to the property. Small things like lightbulbs burning out or flickering in the bathroom that need replacing. Bathtub needed a good scrub. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic! The outside sidewalk is crumbling cement but safely you can walk on a small paver path. I had to plug the hairdryer into an outlet outside of the bathroom as the outlet in the bathroom didn’t work. I would have called the front desk but the phone didn’t work. It was possibly on the same circuit breaker as the ac unit that wouldn’t work. The breakfast was good for someone in a hurry to grab and go. TO the manager-you are sitting on a gold mine!!!! if you make the improvements as it’s within walking distance of several great places, restaurants in the vicinity. "

"This was a decent value and in a good location in Wells. New property and seemed like they were still working some small kinks out. I would judge it slightly less in quality than its fairly direct competitors. Some of the non-chain but similar quality hotels in Wells/Ogunquit are a bit better."

"We stayed in late April when the main building was not yet open. The room was was very clean, heating and hot water worked perfectly. The onsite market is convenient for morning coffee and lounging. The staff have recommended some restaurants and a seafood market that turned out very good."
