"We absolutely loved our stay at Rockwood Manor. When traveling, we look for out of the ordinary places to stay, places with character, history, beauty... This wonderful place has it all. Our room was spacious, clean, charming, and had a beautiful view. Our bathroom was just around the corner in the hall, but was just ours so it really wasn't a problem. "I never do reviews, but was so impressed I am sharing. The property was exactly as pictured and described. Had booked a year in advance for my daughter’s graduation. It was a great place for a family gathering. We took advantage of kayaks, cornhole, and pool table. Everything was clean, grass mowed, and fire pit ready to go. Clean, quiet and comfortable
"Restaurants are less than 10 minutes away but you do have to drive. It's very quiet, clean, and professionally maintained. The bed was super comfy and the shades kept the room dark in the morning. We heard no noise through the night or in the morning. The included "hot breakfast" was indeed hot and was very good. The outlets for electrical charging worked very well and there were plenty of them. The shower was clean with plenty of hot water and very comfortable. I am definitely planning on staying there again."
