"A unique and cozy apartment close to the lake with amazing views. Seems to have been recently updated and was very clean and comfortable. Our elderly pups felt safe and comfortable on the property. As a person with mobility issues (I need an ankle replacement), the steps and steep incline to the bottom of the property was a challenge for me, but for the average person and my husband, it was no problem at all. We loved our stay and hope to return again after my recovery."

This cabin has plenty of sleeping room and many levels to the property to explore. We utilized every aspect the property had to offer and to be only walking distance downhill to the dock was perfect. "We recently stayed at Waybound for 3 nights as part of a California road trip. This was the perfect base for visiting Yosemite being only 2 miles from South Gate. This was the best part of our road trip as we really enjoyed the site. The high standard of the cabin, the newly opened clubhouse/grounds and general setting were perfect. Plus the short walk over to the Tenaya Hotel meant we got the benefit of all the additional facilities. It was a shame some of the restaurants in Tenaya were shut but we did visit outside of the US holidays so maybe simply down to number of customers staying not warranting them being open. If we visit Yosemite again we would definitely book again 💯"

"I enjoyed my stay here. Everyone was really helpful and the place was very clean. The beds were comfortable for a side sleeper but the pillows were on the hard side. The room itself was very clean and spacious. I definitely recommend this place if you're coming out to this area."

"We enjoyed our stay while visiting the lake and Yosemite. Room was a great size and clean when we checked in. It was nice to have a hotel not so crowded to three or four other properties. Bed was too soft for me but family enjoyed it. :) The automatic curtains were a nice touch. Housekeeping missed our room one day but the front desk staff was willing to help out with needed supplies and ensured our room was cleaned the next day. Housekeeping did a great job. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other looking for a nice, clean, affordable place to stay while visiting Yosemite and Bass Lake."

"The property grounds are absolutely adorable and very clean. Our room had a balcony, big balcony, with very nice comfortable outdoor furniture. The room was clean and spacious with all amenities you could possibly want. Nice big bar; they need to hire a full time bartender instead of having the waitresses be the bartenders but the entire staff were top notch. The host greeting us at check in, the waitresses and bartenders. The location is located right between Bass Lake and Yosemite making it a nice quiet enjoyable hotel without all the crowds. There is a Sugar Pine Train Station a few steps away that offers daily & nightly rides into the mountains. A true find for a mountain getaway."
