"Such an amazing spot for a getaway! The floor to ceiling windows allow you to soak in the water views from inside the open plan kitchen, living room, dining room. Or if you want to catch the breeze or hear the water, just open the sliders. And if that tempts you, step out onto the deck, or go down the stairs to the dock and have a sit! There is also a fire pit outside. And yes, the sunset is NOT to be missed! The hosts were awesome and very responsive to questions when we were there. We stayed here while going into Edenton for eating and touristy stuff. Its a very close drive into the town. And we were SO charmed by Edenton as a destination! The only tough part of our trip was deciding whether to stay and the house and sink into relaxation, or go into Edenton for site-seeing and fun."

"Seemingly family ran. All the flooring and fixtures throughout this hotel are brand new.. The gym is small and the room was small but new and clean. Bed was comfortable. Linens were nice and shower pressure was great.. worth the money we paid to stay there."

"Lovely b and b. Historically elegant, but rustic too. The owner and her staff were great hosts. Recommend they improve the directions of the automatic sensor lights. Someone or something set them off throughout the night causing the room to light up like a sunny day at the beach."

"This is an older property along a major thoroughfare. The room and grounds were clean, and all of the essentials were present. The front desk staff was amazing. I did not take advantage of the breakfast so cannot rate it. There were well-kept, mowed, outdoor spaces around the hotel for walking the dog. Outdoor noise was an issue until around 11:30 PM."
