The room was clean, bed ok. The breakfast was ok, I have been to better but far the most part it was adequate. No pool was a bummer. If just need a room for the night this place would do nicely.

On the 2 nights we stayed there a bad storm came through and the power was out for the duration of time we were there. Fortunately, There was a back up generator which kicked on immediately, but the problem was we had no cell service or computer service for the entire 2 days and nights. We were there to attend shows in Branson where the rest of our group were staying. Unfortunately since we could not communicate by email or cell phone to connect with our friends, we had no choice but to go on into Branson very early each day to find out the schedule and get our tickets and show times and where we would eat etc. from the group leader. I realize the storm was an act of God and could not be controlled by the hotel but it was just unsettling for two 78 year olds.

I was bitten by bedbugs and personally observed them in the room. Due to the infestation, I had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night. Although the inn refunded my stay, I continue to suffer from allergic reactions caused by the bites. My greatest concern is that I may have unknowingly transported bedbugs to my home, resulting in additional stress, inconvenience, and potential expenses. It ruined our family trip.

When we tried to check in, the front desk lady said we couldn't. My husband and I had been on the road all nite and all day. She told us we had to come back at check in. I have never been to a hotel we had to wait. We were only an hour and half from check in. Not only that she was rude and hateful. When we came back, that next lady was very kind and nice. She even moved us to a different room bc it was not cooling. This place was convenient and close to places we were going to. Close to restaurants and our next places we were headed. I would definitely stay here again. Bed was awesome too! Breakfast choices were ok.

For an old hotel the room was updated and clean. Smaller things though, still made it feel ‘old’ and ‘rundown’ - the keycards were very worn and even the small, paper folders they hand you the cards in were clearly reused many times and worn. Poor lighting in the bathroom for putting on makeup. Front desk gentleman was very friendly but dressed unprofessionally and could care more about his appearance. The lobby smelled when we walked in like smoke. On 2nd floor someone was smoking marijuana

Unfortunately the policy of accepting dogs in a room must be respected. Our personal problem is that some of us have animal allergies problems. As much as the room gets cleaned, the smell, and animal hairs stay in the room. Not everybody’s health can tolerate living around animals. Hotels should have rooms for guess pets free.
