"AC kept kicking off floor was dirty and the lock was broke on the door!!"

"A group of ladies from our church stayed at the cabin during a ladies’ retreat being held nearby. The house is well set up for a large group, and even has a downstairs room with a private entrance and half bath, which worked well for us. The host was super helpful and responsive throughout the booking process, answering questions and volunteering valuable information. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and there were ample towels, linens and blankets. The dishwasher was an added bonus! The ladies were a little disappointed that the terrain to the lake is a bit rougher than most of them were willing to try, and the house had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests, but overall, we were able to make it work and had a great time at our retreat."

"The staff was polite and helpful. The parking was safe and easy. The area was very close to things, but the overall room itself could use some cleaning. I did not expect it to be fancy for the price, but clean yes. The bedsheets were stained up, the shower and tub looked like they had not been cleaned and had mud splattered on it. The shower curtain was very dirty and old and needs to be replaced. "

"It's an older motel but very clean and fresh. Staff was great. It's about 7 minutes out of McAlester but almost half the price of most hotels in town. "

"It was ok but it wasn’t as nice as pictures. A/c was broke but they switched us rooms. We were only there one night so we made it work!"

"expedia did a lousy job on my reservation, the Hampton Inn made it right, next time I will try and go direct with Hampton, plus it's cheeper."

"This property is a diamond in the rough if you’re planning on visiting the area. I scrolled through hotels before landing on this gem. Clean, with all the things you need all in one. The view is amazing. We were either all playing games inside that they provided or all sitting on the back patio enjoying the view and fresh air."
