  • The Loft is a fabulous apartment just a few steps from the beach, located on the historic Island Wall in Whitstable. Tastefully decorated in soft muted tones, the interior reflects the joy of coastal living. The open plan living space is perfect for relaxing and socialising, and the two bedrooms and bathroom make this lovely apartment perfect for couples or small families. The apartment has the additional attraction of an allocated parking space. A short stroll along the beach brings you to the iconic The Old Neptune pub, one of the few UK pubs situated on a beach, from where you can catch the most stunning sunsets. Continue along the beach path and you reach the centre of Whitstable which is a vibrant and buzzing seaside town, full of history and charm with a working harbour and fish market. It has a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, a great live music scene in the local pubs and some great cafes and restaurants serving contemporary dishes including of course oysters which made Whitstable famous.

    We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
    Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
    Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the property at any time.
    Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
    For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
    Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am.
    Parties and loud music are not permitted.

Short recharge break.

Excellent from arrival to departure. Accommodation in pleasant surroundings betwixt seafront and town. A real home from home. Plenty to experience in the area from history to gastronomy.

Perfect!

A beautifully designed apartment with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Excellent location for the beach, the high street and access to further along the coast. Just exactly what we needed and some tasty treats left for our arrival. Very kind!

Perfect Seaside Stay

The Loft was the ideal location to discover Whitstable for the first time. The loft is perfect for a couple or young family and was one of the few places we could find that was central and had reserved off-street parking. The loft itself was beautifully decorated with all the facilities needed for a 'home from home' stay. The location is excellent, with the apartment only a 2-minute walk from the beach and the high street, which features a great range of independent shops and a supermarket. Whitstable has a lot to offer and we enjoyed long walks along the seafront to Tankerton and back, always seeming to finish at the Old Neptune pub, which is only a few minutes' walk from the Loft. The Neptune is the perfect place to watch the sunset since the pub itself is right on the beach. We would not hesitate to return to the Loft in the future and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

Great location

This is a gorgeous property in a great location between the main shopping street and the beach in Whitstable. On-site parking is really useful as parking locally is just about impossible. It’s small but a masterclass in good use of space. It looked exactly as it appeared online and was also quiet and comfortable as well as looking nice. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook, although a small microwave for defrosting and reheating would have been handy. There’s good quality crockery, cutlery and glassware. The big table with bench seating was fantastic in such a small apartment. We had a great stay here and would certainly stay again if in this area. Highly Recommended.

Great location so close to beach and shops

My wife was born in Whitstable and we got married their 52 years ago, hadn't been back for a very long time. It was lovely being back but it has changed it brought back a lot of lovely memories, will stay at the loft again

Comfortable stay although small living, dining kitchen area. Disappointing entrance and from the outside but much better inside. Can be some road noise. Good parking. Loved Whitstable.

A sunny week in Whitstable

The Loft was a superb apartment in a great location. The only criticism we would make is the shortage of some of the usual household supplies. i.e. Bare minimum of toilet paper, washing up liquid, hand wash in the bathroom, spare rubbish bags etc.The dishwasher was broken and you had to fill a huge sink with water to wash up. It would be a good idea to supply a plastic bowl. Only minor things, but would make a difference.

A few improvements & this accommodation would be perfect.

On the whole the apartment was very nice . Furnishings were modern & comfortable with nice artwork & cushions giving a luxury feel & the location was perfect. It was a shame that detail to cleaning was a little lacking especially the shelves in the kitchen & the cooker hood being very dusty & you could see they had not been cleaned in quite some time. The bench seat at the dining room table had mildew on it & the sofa could do with a clean. The dishwasher was not working & had not been working for some weeks as we were advised about this before hand. An addition of a microwave would have been helpful. The grounds of the property were poorly looked after & were very scruffy but the car park was handy to have. Attention to the cleaning would bring the apartment's standard back up to scratch.
