« The road to the cabin had been washed out so we could not get to it. The host offered to let us stay at another cabin they had which was unrented. We just paid more for cleaning and stayed there. « It was 100 degrees when I left home so the heavily shaded property was the perfect place to cool down. Many trails are still closed so I took advantage of the close proximity to Asheville and the Parkway to shop the art galleries and dine out with my dog. Wicked Weed and Louella’s barbecue were my go to places. When it rained, I enjoyed reading on the front porch. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I was surprised by the great water pressure.
