« We checked in on July 3, 2026. Shortly after arrival, we took the elevator and immediately noticed there was no air conditioning. The elevator also became stuck and began trembling, which was very frightening. We repeatedly pressed the buttons to open the doors before they finally released. When we reached our floor, the hallway was also without air conditioning. « My Family and I had a great time. The staff was excellent. Dwayne, the chef was awesome. He was very pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious- breakfast and dinner. We appreciated food cooked to order... Plus we enjoyed talking with Dwayne. We always look forward to seeing him whenever we book at Hilton Gardens Solomons. »

« The front desk people were so nice and helpful. I had two reservations for two days that they consolidated them so I didn’t have to move rooms. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Bathrooms seems bigger than other hotels. AC worked great on the 100 degree days. The restaurant lady was very friendly and did a great job keeping the tables clean and people fed. The cleaning lady was also friendly and kept the hotel very clean. »

« This hotel is very cute, clean and centrally located to the downtown Leonardtown area. Parking was very accessible and easy and I loved that breakfast was included. My only issue was the woman working at the front desk when we checked in. She was grumpy and not very friendly. We arrived at noon so we understood it was early and that all of our rooms might not yet be ready, but she seemed annoyed at us! And didn’t offer any accommodations to help us settle in after a 7 hour drive. »

« Beautiful, unique property. Clean and well equipped for our stay. Bathroom and stairwell are small, so if you are larger in stature you may find it somewhat difficult to maneuver. Loved the trail to the water being close by. We had the "beach" to ourselves each time we went down. TONS of shells and fossils down there. Saw bald eagles and herons as well. The master bed is adjustable, which was a huge bonus for us. Overall it was a great trip and the kids didn't want to leave. »
