The Mountain Star complex is set in a beautiful and peaceful location on Blackcomb Mountain. During the winter you can ski-in and ski-out, or just hop on the FREE shuttle bus. This fantastic townhome sleeps 6 comfortably in 3 bedrooms. We loved the layout of this house! Hot tub was perfect after a long day on the slopes. Kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking/dining in. Host was super accommodating and easy to work with. She allowed us to modify our reservation after booking and refunded the extra night we no longer needed. She also checked in to make sure we were ok. Only downside is the trail to ski home was pretty treacherous. The ski on access down the road was perfect and would recommend getting off there to walk home as well. The trail home was through the woods and pretty hard to ski! Neighbors warned us that it was difficult, but unless you are comfortable skiing through the woods on a very narrow trail, I wouldn't recommend! I had pictured a real ski trail on the mountain and didn't realize it wasn't a real trail until seeing it, but like I said you can walk up from the ski on entrance easily if you don't want to take the trail home. Loved this place and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!! ##### Kara S.
