We enjoyed our stay at the Driftwood and the host was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We were within walking distance to stores, restaurants and the beach.

Sarah was an excellent host. She shared her restaurant recommendations and local attractions to visit. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning. The location was perfect as it was close to the harbour, beach, shopping, and the train and bus locations. Our stay in Weymouth turned out to be our favourite during our 2 week holiday. I highly recommend the Anchorage.

We had the silver room. Good size and large bathroom. Breakfast very good. Parked on road across from the B & B our choice. Would stay there again.

Would stay here again. This is a very pleasant and very British BnB. I stayed here for one night so didn't really use all the offerings. Had Room 5 at the top of the house. Kind and pleasant hostess, comfy bed, nice views, clean bathroom with nice (fun-shaped) tub. Cosy room in a great location.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cumberland. We had a room at the front with a little balcony, the view was awesome. All the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was awesome. On the day of the Ironman knowing most of us would have been gone before breakfast, they hung a little goodie bag on the door so we had additional food ((great service). If there was one downside. Being at the front on a hot week where you had to have the windows open it got a little noisy especially at pub closing....

The location couldn’t have been better, walk across the street and you are on the sandy beach ready for an enjoyable day at the ocean. Arcade close by and rides for the kids. Plus an easy walk to the train and other great activities

Excellent location right opposite the beach. Room 2 has a great bay window sitting area with a panoramic view of the seascape and sunrise. It also has one single and one double bed. Lovely landlady Melaney to greet you on arrival. Folder in room with great local information. Small refrigerator in room.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. The older property was well kept and clean and our room was very comfortable. It was a long haul for two seniors carrying luggage up to the fourth floor, but staff did offer to assist and we declined the help…which we regretted!

Everything was really lovely about the staff, services and food. My room was more than adequate, I would only ask that hotels provide a box of tissues, very helpful. The fan provided did a good job in the hot temperatures we had. I would highly recommend this hotel, where you are made very comfortable, my grandchildren loved the pool.

Good location for day trips

Great location on the seafront and an excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Owner Sean is obviously trying his hardest to provide a good service but we were surprised that the tap water in the room was not drinkable and that it was not mentioned on the website. It would be a good idea to have bottled water in the fridge. Sean was willing to provide water upon request.
