Lovely character home B&B!!

"What a gem! Lovely view to the water! Walkable to the courthouse restaurant and music venue. We were the only guests as we came during the winter months. We were upgraded to the room with a view and enjoyed sitting for tea in our window. Bed was very comfortable with lovely sheets and water was good and hot for the tub soak! So nice to have the cozy robe. There was a lovely main sitting room with books to read or games to play. The hot breakfast was served buffet style in a warmer so we could get it at our leisure, which was great. A lovely young couple who were very eager to make our stay as good as possible. Highly recommend. :-) C&G"

Christmas Holiday

"Our family of 5 (youngest child 19 years) spent 5 days of Christmas here. We put up a tree, hung stockings, snuggled in jammies, played cards, did a puzzle, built Lego, watched movies, read books, walked the trail to the root cellar (3 times), cooked a turkey feast, and just relaxed. We may never spend Christmas home again."

Great accommodations with a great view.

"Stayed here over Christmas for a few days as we visited family in Harbour Grace. The location was what got us there but the view and the quality of the accommodations is why we would recommend it to others. We didn’t meet the owners but they were in regular checking to see if all was well. Great spot and if we need a place to lay our head in the area in the future we will definitely check this place out before looking elsewhere. Trevor and Udlu Iqaluit, Nunavut"

Perfect Getaway

"Had a stay in mid September--lots of amazing weather to experience: hot, cool, stormy, calm, hazy, crisp. Enjoyed the deck and sun and the cozy fireplace. So close to the East Coast Trail for great hikes. Had friends come for some meals and it was a great space to visit and enjoy. It feels remote yet safe. Really comfy beds--but older or little folks might want a step ladder to climb into them! Kelly and Chris were so welcoming and understanding about a hiccup with VRBO. It's a wonderful home in a perfect location. I would definitely come again!"

"Beautiful, spacious and exceptionally equipped private space with a fantastic view off the large, enclosed deck. Excellent collection of local books and paintings/photographs. Sandra has prepared fantastic booklets of local attractions and a very user-friendly "house guide". We were traveling with 2 dogs and, over 16 days and ~7000 km, this was the most perfect location - for the dogs and for us. Hosts are the friendliest people you will meet and want nothing more than to improve your day. A wonderful experience that we hope to repeat."
