« First of all Hamilton, Ga., is a charming small town central to some of the nicest attractions in Georgia, i.e., Providence Canyon State Park (a MUST see), Warm Springs and the Little White House, Callaway Gardens, etc. From Don's greeting at the door upon arrival to looking forward to seeing Judy and Rosemary at breakfast our week long stay at Holly House was outstanding. « Rooms were not ready at check-in time. Lobby bathroom was gross with urine and feces. Our room had a strange odor. Understaffed restaurant at the resort. The cantina at the beach was unexpectedly closed. The main gate to the beach was closed causing a long drive to get lunch for our hungry children. The staff was friendly and the food was good when we finally got sat in the mostly empty dining room. The beds were comfortable. The scenery was nice. »

« The place was clean, the staff were helpful, the amenities nice and as described. Our ac wasn't draining properly, so the room was extremely humid (windows so fogged you couldn't see out, despite outdoor highs in the low 70s) and made an alarming creaking sound every 45 minutes or so. The sheets were nice and the bed and pillows very comfortable. »
