"Marriott was a wonderful spot for our stay in Newport! Central to all the activities - restaurants and bars — shopping etc. Across from the ballpark was fun!! Took in a Gulls game too. Amenities were wonderful - new outside area next to indoor salt water pool was perfect. "

"Property is in a great location. Able to park the car and leave it. Staff very friendly and helpful although wait staff were in short staff and yet tried very hard. Selection of breakfast items was good. Bathrooms are on the small side and lacking exhaust fans . Well stocked bar and there is music on the deck. I recommend this hotel and would return to it."

"This place was beautiful, and extremely clean. The front desk ladies were amazing !!!!! We stayed in town for a concert at Foxwoods . We couldn’t be more thrilled about our stay here and the cleanliness and hospitality we received. It was so quiet we got great sleep after a long night . Will be booking again . The checkout staff was amazing as well!!!!! "

"Beautiful property on the goat island, convenient to downtown and waterfront location. Good value compared to other hotels. Just be aware of additional parking costs and amenity fees which could increase the total cost. Great overall "

"We just needed a room for one night since we were visiting the sites in the area. The room was very clean which I am very picky with. The inn overall is very well maintained, although decor is slowly getting outdated. We didn't get to try the breakfast but serving area looked nice. Overall, we had very good quick stay. "
