« I had the most wonderful stay at this off-grid cabin on the beautiful Kina Peninsula. The place was absolutely immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly well equipped. « Kōwhai Cabin was in an excellent location to the town centre and the beach, an easy walk to both. The Glow Worm Dell was less than 10 minutes walk and well worth a visit. The cottage was very private down a leg-in drive and designed well for the sun. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It has plenty of space both inside and out. There was only two of us but still plenty of room if four people stayed. Not a negative but I think the property is better suited for adults and...

« The views here are way better than the pictures show. Simply stunning. Might be the best place we have ever stayed just such a location. The owner greeted us with freshly picked vegetables and descriptions of the everything around. It is located right at the start of the well known Cape Foulwind Walkway which we hiked on up and down the coast f or 2 hours, and also the start of the trail down to the "hole in the rock". "Chambre avec salle de bain équipée d'une baignoire spa et un petite terrasse donnant directement sur une colline arborée.. Le seul bémol pour ma.part.c'est qu'il y a une fenêtre à 4 mètres de hauteur non équipée de rideaux occultants, de ce fait pour peu que cela soit ensoleillé vous êtes réveillé avant 7h.. Sinon rien à redire, j'ai beaucoup utilisé la terrasse car plus pratique que le meuble à l'intérieur...Ah si la réception satellite est très mauvaise voire inexistante lorsqu'un grosse averse survient.. De ce fait, il n'y a plus qu'à aller marcher sous la.pluie.."

"Our stay in Hearland Hotel Haast was great. Perfect place to stay for a layover between Hokitika and Wanaka/Queenstown. Staff was friendly, bed was very comfortable and the location was good being on the way to Haast Beach. Wifi was a bit slow, but we managed. There is not much to do in Haast, but you will for sure have a great night of sleep. Would recommend. "
