« Smoking smell in the room. First thing I see as I walk in is a roach on the floor. The bath tub also had a roach, once I washed that down the drain ants started to crawl out of the drain. Several more roaches were found during my stay. »

« Wonderful host Richard and the beautiful home »

« Upstairs in a remodelled log cabin in remote area. Clean/comfy bed; good HVAC; full frig; plenty of room (bedroom, kitchen, living room, bath); small shower space; needs more attention to detail as there were some issues (but not deal breakers). Overall, 4 out of 5. »

« Wonderful spot to chill. Common outdoor area had bags, fire pits, grills. Nice spot to meet and chat with other guests. Loved being able to just walk to dock and fish. Super relaxing and peaceful spot to stay. »

« The cabin was adorable. Greg was great! The cabin was spotless. Great water pressure. It rained and it was lovely with the tin roof:) The tv reception was good and the wi - fi was great. Loved it! »

« Realized how dirty floor was when i dropped earring. Popcorn in corners of floor. I took pictures. Way toooo expensive for quality of room. Small, old, needs, updating badly. Would not recommend this room to anyone. So overpriced for quality of room. »

« Nice clean property and friendly hosts. My only reason for. GOOD rating is my misunderstanding of the layout, we were up stairs and the living area downstairs. Not keen on stairs at our age. The thermostat was owned controlled and not located in our lodging area so things heated up during the day making it uncomfortable in the evenings. The owners did provide fans. I would recommend ceiling fans and maybe some split air units. »

« Great place as advertised! »

« Perfect location in Alma. Rooms were nice. I would stay here again. »

« It was a amazing experience great help from the owners would definitely stay there again »

« This is a very interesting, well-maintained home. There are fine decorating details appropriate to this vintage home. There are many items for guest comfort. »

« This place is absolutely beautiful. Set right to the falls in Independence. I wish I had taken my morning coffee outside to the private overlook of the falls, but inside was perfect too »

« Lovely historic hotel with modern amenities in the heart of a small town on the river front. Once checked in I could have all of my needs met by foot! A nice brewery, restaurants and the river front all within a mile. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever enjoyed in a hotel. Hours are spotty, but I did get to enjoy both the basement Speakeasy as well as the dining room for breakfast. Wonderful stay overall. »

« Bathroom was a bit smaller than it looked in pictures. Room was clean. Twin bed was uncomfortable for me. »
