« We enjoyed our stay here very much. The location was perfect for where we were going each day. The place was very clean. We could tell a lot of thought went in to making it comfortable and entertaining. « We had a lovely relaxing stay at Don and Tammy's home. It was spacious, well maintained and perfectly equipped, and a short walk to the lake. We enjoyed a bit of kayaking, grilling and even sat in the pretty lighted gazebo enjoying the night sky. The hosts were very communicative and took great care of our needs. « Check in was super easy. The host messaged me the code for the door lock on our day of check in and no issues. The room is above a steakhouse in an older, Victorian style home. The room has everything you need. A bed, a smart tv, a toilet and a shower. The room was clean when we arrived and the shower had different shampoos and soaps in it. « The property was lovely. There were extra towels and very well stocked kitchen supplies. My only complaint was the overwhelming odor after someone used the fireplace. I wish there was something to neutralize the smokey odor. Also it would be nice to have a tv in the bedrooms. At least a tv in the master bedroom. I would stay here again. »

« What a beautiful space! It was very clean and the area quite remote. In the mornings, we saw deer and wild turkey. And so many birds! We didn’t hike any any trails, but there was a great guide available in the home that showed the property lines and gave info about the property! It was great for us and our kiddos. »

« Secluded, quiet idyllic area, ample space for sleeping/bedrooms available, we were 10 people, clean, game room, small-ish kitchen but fully functional, bathrooms great, hot tub great, pool closed, I loved that there is a playground for kids but we were all adults, restaurants and groceries within 10-15 minute drive, we stayed for a Spartan race at Mt. Vernon only 12 minutes away, would definitely request a stay again! »

« We had to stage for a wedding at this place, and it was absolutely fabulous. There was plenty of room. The kitchen was amazing. The house was clean. It was beautifully decorated plenty of room for people to come and go.We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely stay here again. The homeowner was extremely helpful. « the place was so lovely and comfortable! the hosts were very kind when we had some trouble getting in at first (user error), and we had no troubles at all during our stay. The pool and hot tub are amazing, the house is so comfortable, and there is lots of hiking and other nature activities nearby. the sound of the creek is so soothing! »
