Summary: This chic 3-level, 4BR/3.5BA home features TWO CAR DRIVEWAY PARKING for free, sunny bedrooms, comfy furniture, 2 TVs, full kitchen and a large back deck and yard for entertaining! The home has been fully renovated with a gourmet kitchen upstairs, plus parking, queen beds everywhere, and a nice yard. Combine with lower unit (with a separate rear entrance of its own) to sleep up to 16 with two full kitchens too! Note- parking is a little tight so be careful and you may have to move trash cans for two cars to use the space. Also note there is an exterior cameras in use on the doorbell. The Space: Upstairs are three large bedrooms including. a primary suite with its own en-suite bathroom. On the main level are two enormous couches, 55" smart TV, dining seating for at least 8, and a kitchen with all the bells and whistles. There is also a back deck with seating for at least 6\. Downstairs in the separate unit is a full apartment with 1 semi-private bedroom, and three cozy sofa beds/ futons in the living area. It also has its own TV, Washer/Dryer, full kitchen and full bathroom. Some would classify this space as a large efficiency with den. Guest Access: You'll have easy access to the property 24/7 through our electronic lock, which generates a unique code for each guest that automatically expires upon their departure and won't work before their arrival. The Neighborhood: Petworth North is a lovely, green neighborhood that is super close to Bethesda (5 mi), Capitol Hill (5 mi), U Street (3 mi), Downtown DC (4.5 mi), Georgetown (7 mi), Cleveland Park (2.5 mi), Silver Spring (3 mi). It is so centrally located that it is very accessible to all of NW DC and some of NE DC. So naturally this listing is only a stone's throw from Howard University and Catholic University. Getting Around: The Ft. Totten Metro is about a 10-minute walk through the neighborhood. There are lots of bus routes nearby, and parking is easy here and you can also use Uber or Lyft to cheaply and easily get around. Because it is so centrally located, Uber and Lyft drivers are never far away. The property fit our needs perfectly. Both of my kids were able to have their own room and the master bedroom was more than spacious. The accommodations in the home all met our expectations. The locations takes between 15-30 minutes to get to any of the major attractions in the area which is exactly what we were looking for.The parking in the alley was very nice, but it would be very tight to fit two cars on the parking pad. We only had one so that was not a concern for us. Overall I would strongly recommend this property for a family looking for someplace to stay a little outside of the heart of DC. ##### The K. We arrived to find house dirty with food and dirty dishes all around. Agent was responsive but we could not use house until two hours later. Many nice to haves are missing, like tissues, washcloths, non-slip shower mats, wine glasses. But the worst was when 2 smoke alarms went off in after midnight. Agent responded but we were left to fix it on our own without a ladder or any tools.
