Main level bedrooms. Close to DC, College Park, Bethesda (NIH) & Rockville. White House, Capitol Hill, and Union Station are <8 miles. Uber to DC metro is \~$10 & Union Station is \~$20\. Freeway (495E) is 2 miles. Dulles/Reagan/BWI airports \~30 mins. Restaurants, grocery stores, Parks, hospitals nearby. Suited for DC visits, family, work-trips, or recovery. Gourmet windows and nature in the backyard - watch birds and deers! Quiet surroundings. Located right next to Sligo Creek. Spot deers in the backyard merging with Sligo Woods. Unwind in nature after a hectic day. Peaceful walk to nearby local downtown (\~10 mins) to eat, buy groceries, etc. Plenty of parks within fe mins of drive. The house is newly furnished with large windows for light and forest view. Enjoy your morning coffee looking right into nature from a gourmet window designed to absorb and radiate peaceful energy rustling wood and chirping birds. Perfect location for work from home with a designated work space or family or solo venturers visiting DC, Silver Spring, or Takoma park. Purple line will be soon make commute super convenient. Quite neighborhood. I like this house because of the comfort it gives me, peace from the Sligo woods with green foliage, creek, birds and Sporadic deers in the backyard. Additionally, this house is super conveniently located with its own down town with Safeway, Giant, Laundromat, dominos, local restaurants and food trucks less than 1 mile. There are many parks with tennis courts, soccer fields. Downtown Silver Spring and Takoma Park are less than 2 miles where one take take metro to DC. Special feature of this house is its large gourmet windows, and also I adore the above grade lower level (basement but not exactly a basement given its above grade and walk out level) with its own cozy and spacious bedroom and living rooms. The living room upstairs has a 55 inch TV and living room downstairs has a 65" TV. The living room downstairs is furnished with a 6-piece Thomasville sectional sofa (sofabed) that can also be used to watch TV in bed. There is a spacious full bath also in the lower level. If you need to work, we have one bedroom converted with office, with a day bed. The woods and nature visible from the office window is there to inspire and stimulate content, thought, creativity, and ideas that may set you up for your next big venture. Your this stay may be just the one you need - don't let it pass. Note: if you are booking between 1/8/2026 and 1/19/2026 the driveway will not be available for parking. We are repairing and expanding the driveway.
