We stayed the weekend after Thanksgiving 2025 (sorry for the late review). Good location that's easy to get to the ocean, Seaside and Astoria. Spacious house with multiple beds/bedrooms and bathrooms. The upstairs sleeping area/family room would be good for people with kids as they'd have an out of the way place to play. The view of the lake is nice. The kitchen is pretty well stocked. The only issue was that there weren't enough of some dishes available (ie. dinner plates, coffee cups) for the group size we had - we were supposed to have 9 people but only had 7 and were still short. We had paper plates with us and ate out the second night so it wasn't a big deal. Would definitely stay again.

The house was exactly as featured. The owners are very responsive. It took us a few tries to operate the digital door lock (my own fault). They were diligent in checking on us, which is a level of attention we really appreciate. We had plenty of room, the kitchen was fully stocked. The view was amazing and we loved having a nice couch and seating to all gather comfortably. The beds were superb and the pillows probably better that ours at home! Just down the street, there is a wonderful coffee shop/bakery. It is just a third of a mile walk; the owner/staff are wonderful. We went there every one of the four mornings we stayed at the house.

Above description says it all—Lakefront, close to Sunset Beach, Quiet. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes, placemats, etc. We enjoyed the fire pit, and the sleeping worked well for us-6 adults. (We did not use the extra room.) it was a pleasure to meet Lorrie. We would have preferred a 3:00 pm check-in to the 4:00 pm, but that was minor. Thank you, Lorrie and John

We were there for a short weekend trip for a wedding in Astoria. The location was great, close to Costco, Fred Meyers and not far from Astoria. The house was perfect for four couples and was very clean. There is a really good coffee shop a block away that makes for a nice morning stroll to get yummy coffee.

Good Time Had By All !!

We had a great time here. The kiddos enjoyed the tire swing and jumping off the dock. (water very cold) Kept meaning to have s'mores with the help of the fire pit. Next time! Beach was just a few minutes away. We were able to have girl grands sleep upstairs and boy grands downstairs with adults on each floor. Worked out really well. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Ladies getaway

The home is exaclty what it claims to be. We had a wonderful stay and our interaction with the owners was pleasant. Perfect location to enjoy the coast without being right on the beach.
