"As described, the location was perfect. We hit 4 trail systems right by property. Place was very large and had enough property for parking. First day we hired a guide, showed us a little of everything. Next 3 days rode our own. Property was well maintained great food, Indian Ridge Bar & Grill, down the road. People in area very helpfull. "We loved visiting Tazwell this weekend. This carriage house is conveniently near food, coffee and everything else. The Grounds were beautiful with many wildlife sittings. My wife enjoyed all the deer visitors. We would definitely stay again."

"The owner is very responsive to inquiries and even checked on us the following day to ensure everything with the property was as expected. The place was clean and well put together. The front porch was awesome and plenty of space for a group gathering. The grill was clean and ready for use; bring a metal flipper! The queen and king beds are comfortable, the bunk beds are great for young ones; daughter slept fine on it. The only reason why I rated the online listing a 4 vice a 5, there were a few clarifications I needed to check with the owner; address was shown but when you click "get directions" and different address was populated. Items to bring was listed on the detailed page but the overview page said 3 bedrooms and didn't say bring sheets and blankets. To the owners defense, they did say check in 2 days prior. I had just got off a work trip, quick pack, and checked the property details that night, and they did respond around 1130 PM. Amazing! So my fault for not reaching out the details sooner. Lessons learned, overall we would stay here again....just make sure you contact the owner in advance."

"My wife and I really enjoyed the stay. It's close to downtown Tazewell, but far enough out of town that you feel like you're out in the mountains far from civilization. It's a quaint, new-ish wooden cabin with everything we needed for a couple days away. There's no TV, but honestly we didn't miss it, and it was nice to not mindlessly flip on the screen during downtime. I'd go back again for sure when traveling that way."
