« chambre agreable, petit dejeuner copieux »

« Comfortable room. Excellent food in restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful »

« Staff were friendly who we saw. Very limited parking even street parking is limited due to permits needed. No breakfast even though it stated breakfast. Rooms could do with an update. Bar area is nice to have a drink and can imagine in the summer would be a great place »

« Great location, bar and restaurant staff were friendly, bar and restaurant area was decorated fabulously for Halloween. The room unfortunately had a lingering smell from what I believe were the drains in the bathroom. Check in was not particularly warm or welcoming. Room decor feels out of place with the history of the building. »

« Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her. »

« Had no choice but to book a room on the first floor that was meant for people who need "assistance". Room had zero charm at all and I felt like I was in a hospital especially in the bathroom. On top of that it was full of golfers who made a lot of noise. Anyways, bad stay overall. I know I should not be suprised as I booked this type of room but still... »

« Room dated paper peeling off, wash basin poor at best. No breakfast, television reception terrible, The whole hotel could do with a good clean and decorating. Drinks not at the price's stated. »
