PLEASE NOTE: \*Linen is not provided \*There is a double air bed available to sleep up to an additional 2 people \*Top single bunk - maximum weight of 60kgs \*Cellphone reception can be limited to so it's important to screenshot or keep another copy of property details elsewhere before going \*Small dogs welcome upon request We don’t have WIFI, so enjoy reading some books, playing games, watching movies (there is a small range of DVDs available) or just sit back and listen to the birds chirping! Enjoy walks and swims down at the beach as well as a short drive to some local wineries. Akaroa is only a 20min drive if you want to explore some of the local shops or have a meal out. The Duvauchelle Pub also does great meals! Tea, Coffee, Sugar, cooking oil, salt & pepper, laundry powder is available for use. There is no shop in Wainui so it’s important to come prepared. The closest shop is Duvauchelle. The house is compact but very well setup. Our bed was very comfortable as was the living room seating. The highlight of this property is the wonderful elevated view of the Akaroa Harbour and the Heads. There are also great views from the extensive deck to the surrounding valley and hills. It was only a 10 minute walk to the beach down a track at the end of the street and the beach is good for swimming and other water activities. I also enjoyed walking / running up the narrow country roads leading out of Wainui. The location was very quiet apart from the pleasing sound of bellbirds and I enjoyed the birdlife in the area. We gave the sliding door window an extra clean so that we could better enjoy the great view from the living room as well as from sitting on the deck. ##### John E.
