"We had an amazing stay at this beachfront house in Hawaii! The location is incredible, practically a private beach, and we even saw turtles swimming nearby, which was magical. The house was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed.Jim was incredibly nice, friendly, and flexible, making our stay even better. We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!"
SUNSET BEACH OHAU HAWAII - BEST VIEW ON THE NORTH SHORE
10/10 Excellent
"We spent a week at Ron's Beach Treehouse in 2018 and again this summer in 2025. The North shore and Sunset beach is already a relaxing place to be, but the Treehouse makes it an exceptional getaway spot. We loved the gorgeous views, the awesome balcony, the tidy and functional space, and the resident geckos! There is plenty of room to fit four people comfortably. Our two sons (now adults) slept in the loft, and we had the small bedroom. It does get a little warm inside during the afternoons, but that only encourages you to be outside and take advantage of the weather! The bedroom has an air conditioner, which we used at night, but otherwise we left the doors and partitions wide open to take advantage of the breeze during the day, just using the screen doors. There are plenty of beach towels and bathroom linens. The kitchen is just the right size for simple cooking and includes basic supplies. We made lunch daily, dinner one night, but pretty much took advantage of all the awesome food trucks and Ted's, a short walk away. We rented a car so we could hit Shark's Cove for snorkeling and Foodland for basics during our vacation.Ron is fantastic and super friendly. He is very responsive when you need anything, but otherwise he seems to want his guests to enjoy their stay, so he leaves you to it.When we return to the North Shore, we will most definitely be back. After two stays it is hard to mess with perfection!"
"This was an amazing place. Jim keeps an awesome property that is just right. It’s just isolated enough but still close to town. We found ourselves alone on the beach more than once. Very romantic. The property felt like home and was a great base camp when we just wanted to relax in the evening or spend time on the beach. When we come back to Oahu we will definitely rent from Jim again."
