"Clean and spacious room. Ample parking near door. Just a couple of steps from the car down to the room. Very quiet and peaceful. This stay was a Thursday. We required a microwave. I rang the number on hand and the reception was closed for the day. It was 5pm. We had seen some staff cleaning other rooms on arrival. We went and asked if they could help. Which they did. A microwave was brought to our room quickly. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. "

"Elysia is a fabulous property in the Hunter Valley. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The gym is amazing as well as indoor and outdoor swimming pool, sauna and ice bath. The resort is feeling a little dated which is why I couldn't give 5 stars, but I would absolutely stay there again."

"Rooms are a bit tired looking but extremely comfortable and clean. We skipped breakfast but enjoyed the delicious $95pp 3 course evening meal. The hotel grounds are lovely. There's also a great Irish bar, Harrigans about 1km down the street. I can't wait to return."

"Plenty of space, lovely to have the outdoor table for dinner - plenty of deckchairs by the pool. Great outlook onto a vinyard and heaps of roos lazing about. Very close to the Hunter Valley Gardens for the xmas lights. Some good restuarants close by."
