"This beautifully restored house is very charming and comfortable. The grounds are pristine, with lovely fruit trees and fragrant lavender. The heated pool was very much appreciated. I will note that the bedrooms and bathroom on the third floor are better suited to children rather than adults. "

Its a 15 minute drive to the castle from the property or one of the most picturesque hour walks through the forest I've ever made. If youre willing to brave the land of very small-town France where everything closes by 7pm, you won't be dissapointed."

I arrived in the afternoon around 3pm to find the door locked and nobody there but a sign that says call these 2 numbers. First number, voicemail, so i try the second and the voice on the other side of the line instructs me to find the key to my room AND the key to the damn hotel entrance in a secret box. So i do, and I go in only to find the place so dark I have to turn on the flashlight on my phone. With luck I find the light switch to the hallway, but the light is so dim I have to keep the flashlight on. The interior is dilapidated and a reflection of an owner that has given up a very long time ago and now is milking the place for the last few pennies. Disappointing experience."
