"We really enjoyed the big breakfast buffet with everything possible. Parking was a bit tricky as we couldn’t find the parking lot and had to circle around twice, but the hotel itself is very nice clean rooms and we had a wonderful stay."

"Ocean view was beautiful and northern lights were visible from property being away from city lights. I had to stay an extra night due to road closure and reception did an excellent job taking notes on peoples needs. They delivered extra towels despite 71mpg gusts and provided extra coffee. A very comfortable spot if you need a break from eating out and would like to cook for yourself during your trip too. The only concern was the controlled temperature so I needed to use both blankets from the two beds to keep warm. "

"All very good except the breakfast. The location was excellent and the room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast at 8am tasted good but the service was poor. Not sure if it was understaffed or the only waiter available was new to the job. The yoghurt had run out, the fruit had run out, there was a half eaten pancake left by the coffee. The hotel in general had very high standards so I am guessing this was not normal for breakfast."

"Property was good size and clean but was not as luxurious as shown in the pictures. Property had no view at all as it overlooked the main road and the supermarket car park on the other side of the road. Was very expensive for what it was but was fine for an overnight stay. However I would look for an alternative if staying in Vik in future. "

"Location was convenient and the the view was great. We are a family of 5 and we’re comfortable during our stay. "

"This is a great little place to stay and not have to travel to see the northern lights. I stayed in one of the bungalows (the called it the chicken houses). Stay was comfortable, it is a small space so a bit crowded and the ceilings were short and sloped in so it made taking a shower a little challenging but still doable. The only turnoff for me was the sink was leaking from the drain pipe as well as one of the water lines going into the sink and the staff's response was to bring me towels. Luckily it wasn't a bad leak but you can tell the place suffers from bad plumbing issues with lots of water damage along the floor boards. "
