Châteaux à Vian

« We have always had great experiences with hotels.com but this was a little rough. This place is not very well kept up. One of the closet doors upstairs was missing. The wood interior needs refinishing because there are a lot of blemishes and not in a fun rustic way. More like your old aunt’s home that is unkept. The wood kitchen cabinet has lots of grime where they have been touched over the years. Beware, the stairs are narrow and steep, so you need to be agile to get to the bedrooms. When...

« Perfect peaceful getaway in the woods. Right next to Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge. Very clean. Excellent for 2 people. Highly recommend! »

« Absolutely best place. Camping but in a house. The back deck was so peaceful. Thank you for making our stay memorable »

« We travel every year to waterfowl hunt, staying in rental properties through various websites/apps. This cabin is one the best far as what’s provided and the pricing. Cabin is well stocked with everything we needed. Very clean inside and out. The young man doing the outdoor maintenance does a really great job keeping the whole area tidy. The location has to be the best part for someone coming to the area to visit the refuge. Will definitely be back. Thanks Robert and family. »

« The check in itself was easy and the guy was nice. The room was very basic and the room was very hot at first. The floor was not super clean, only 3 small pillows for a king bed, and the shower/ tub had a patch missing or like damage was painted over. For one night it was fine but if it was more than that I would have gone somewhere else. »

« Clean, convenient and cost effective »

« The guy who was there (the owner?) was very nice and the place was just what we needed. Maybe it was because we had ridden up from Galveston on our motorcycles and were very tired but everything was perfect. The room was nice and clean, the beds were comfy, the AC was freezing cold, I really couldn't have asked for a better stay. The one item to note was that the toilet was lower than a normal toilet which was fine for us but could be a challenge for seniors. »

« smelt of cigarettes and mold. cigarette butts behind the tv, and a heroin needle behind the nightstand. you get what you pay for in a small middle of no where town. »

« Accueil très sympatique, chambre spacieuse, propre et confortable. Fridge. Mauvaise wifi, mais surtout chambre très mal insonorisée: on entendait clairement tout ce que disaient nos voisins de chambre. Dommage, sinon c'était parfait. »

« Clean room »

« This was a cute little cabin. It was clean, I felt safe, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the shared bathrooms and showers. »

« Room was clean. Breakfast was poor. Staff was adequate. WiFi only in part of the facility. Pool was/has been drained. »

« Loved our stay, was looking for something close to home but in the wooded area. We saw lots of deer and surrounding state parks make it easy to find swimming or fishing areas. We will be back! »
