  • La Forge est une charmante maison de deux étages avec 2 chambres à coucher avec salle de bain (incluant douche à l'italienne), cuisine entièrement équipée / salon / salle à manger et terrasse privée donnant sur la piscine et la Roche de Solutré. Chambre principale au premier étage avec fenêtres double aspect et poutres apparentes au plafond. (La deuxième chambre a des lits jumeaux avec des couchettes supplémentaires pour les petits enfants).

    Toutes les propriétés ont accès à une piscine chauffée de 10 mètres sur 5 qui est gérée quotidiennement et partagée entre les 3 maisons. Il y a aussi des chaises longues et une table de ping-pong.

    Vergécosse est un développement de cour unique en son genre dans le joli village de Vergisson près de Mâcon en Bourgogne du Sud. Il comprend La Forge (2 chambres), La Croix (4 chambres) et La Roche (5 chambres). Ceux-ci peuvent être réservés individuellement ou dans n'importe quelle combinaison.

    Appréciez le paysage magnifique et la tranquillité que cette région de France a à offrir et vous détendre avec vos amis et votre famille dans le confort de nos maisons.

    Situé dans un endroit paisible sur le bord du village avec les plus belles vues de La Roche de Solutré, les propriétés ont été soigneusement restaurées en utilisant la pierre naturelle et le bois avec une grande partie de la structure de toit en chêne d'origine exposée.

    Chaque maison a sa propre terrasse orientée au sud où la vraie vie en plein air peut être appréciée pendant les mois d'été.
    Plongez dans la piscine extérieure ou promenez-vous dans le vignoble. Détendez-vous avec un livre ou capturez le moment avec votre appareil photo numérique ou vos peintures. Goûtez le vin et savourez la nourriture locale. Prenez le rythme avec les enfants en vélo ou grimpez les deux roches, Solutré et Vergisson.

Charmante maison avec très belle vue.

Gite très agréable et fonctionnel avec une très belle vue sur la Roche de Solutré et le vignoble. Environnement très calme et intimité préservée malgré la proximité des deux autres gîtes. Accès immédiat à la piscine très bien aménagée. Amy (qui parle français) et Matt sont très avenants et disponibles. Je recommande.

A fabulous little gem of a property with stunning views

We stayed for a long week-end in this little courtyard property and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the area. The vendage had just started and the fields were alive with grape pickers. We were blessed with good weather and so made good use of the pool and the sun-loungers!

Lovely stay in beautifully set up apartment in the heart of wine country

What a gorgeous place to stay! There are three apartments round a courtyard, each with private entrances and their own private terrace and bbq. The pool is shared but there is plenty of sunbathing space (and sun loungers) and this faces south (with a beautiful outlook) so it is as very sunny spot. The apartment we were in was very sympathetically renovated to a high standard, mixing period features, such as old wooden beams, with modern appliances. The village is small and quiet but full of character and completely surrounded by vines, and there were many vineyard workers tending their vines. Each village has its own restaurant and we ate - and of course drank! - extremely well. We really enjoyed the wine produced by the vineyard - delicious! All in all a fabulous place - we'll be back!

Magnifique logement.

John est un excellent hôte. Le logement est très agréable et reposant. Beaucoup de confort. Les lits sont confortables et reposants. Belle vue de la piscine. Je recommande fortement et j'espère y retourner plus longuement. Encore merci pour le séjour.

Great stay!

We had a warm welcome of Colette which is the concierge. She is really great! We enjoyed her support as well as her cooking very much! We stayed in La Forge which is a nice house. The only thing is that the living room, diningroom and kitchen is in one room so that there is not so much space with two children. We had perfect weather so that anyway we were most of the time outside. We enjoyed the quiteness and surrounding very much!

Clean, high quality finish with great character.

My wife and I had a lovely break on our own having been to Vergecosse several times before with friends or family. As it happens we knew people in La Croix and also got to know the Australian visitors in La Forge, something which seems to happen whenever we visit. We explored new walks, new restaurants and new wine tasting venues and had a great time.

Lovely propertywith in a beautiful landscape

The area is lovely and tranquil. The gardens at the vineyard are beautifully maintained. The swimming pool is a good size (although a little cold for a heated pool) and there are plenty of sun loungers. Nicky and David were very friendly and helpful. BUT..... The Forge proved to be too small for four adults and one child, especially when the weather was unfavourable. The settee and armchairs are slotted under the staircase -head room and leg room was a problem for us. It was impossible for us all to watch the TV at the same time (which was extremely small) or to generally relax. When the sun shone we were able to extend and make use of the lovely outside space. However there was inadequate shade on the patio for our 6 month old baby. Other properties have a covered terrace. The bathroom had a damp smell due to no ventilation. We were plagued with flies but perhaps this is to be expected in the countryside? Unfortunately we were not supplied with the choice of breakfast cereals as per the information, but we had taken some of our own. I would not recommend The Forge but I would recommend one of the bigger properties at the vineyard. We enjoyed Cluny and walking up the Roche. We were disappointed that many smaller cafes etc were closed - perhaps duento the time of year and the French holidays?

Two weeks in May in La Forge

This is our second stay in La Forge and it was good to see the small changes since last time - the vines which have been planted to grow over the patio area are really coming on and there look to be a good few bunches of grapes which will no doubt be enjoyed by someone later in the season. David and Nikki provivded a friendly welcome and were on hand each day for anything we needed. A day trip to Beaune by train from Macon Ville was a highlight - wonderful Hospice de Dieu and wine tasting in their cellars. Auberge in the village has new owners - very friendly, good French fayre and reasonably priced. Also open during the day for coffee/drink and now doing fresh bread each morning - perfect!

Sehr schöne Wohnung in herrlicher Umgebung

Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung, alles geschmackvoll renoviert, sehr sauber. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und verbrachten eine wunderbare Ferienwoche. Der Pool ist sauber und gepflegt (beheizt auf 25°) Die Gegend bietet zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen, Besichtigungen und Radtouren auf herrlichen Radwegen. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen.
