The location right on the canal was wonderful and right in the middles of the bustling tourist area, but quiet at night too! The place was clean and had a lovely common sitting area which made if feel more like a pesnione.
The staff we interacted with were great.
The only downside that we did not know ahead of time was that there is no reception on site, and the check in was confusing as a result. Also, zero amenties, no cups in the rooms, no coffee pot, no microwave, there was a fridge though, and these amenities did not exist in the common areas either.
Otherwise our stay was lovely and would recommend.
The walk to the hotel from the train station was a solid 30 minutes, with chaotic crowds, and many up and down bridges to drag your suitcase through. We did not know about the water bus option until after we arrived, there is a station nearby that we did not know about, the staff told us after we arrived so that was helpful during out stay!
