Spacious and clean house in a great location with a fantastic view. We enjoyed our stay. Maya is very responsive and helpful. We look forward to stay here again.
Within 5-15 min to capilano bridge and grouse mountain. Lots of good eating nearby as well. House was clean, had plenty of amenities, bed was comfy and the view was spectacular.
We really enjoyed our stay. The views from the front patio are amazing. The house was clean and Maya was easy to get in touch with. Very convenient to groceries and restaurants as well.

The house has a few minor quirks due to it’s vintage (limited electrical outlets) but it’s well-appointed for a family vacation home, and I enjoyed some of the remaining original architectural details.

My husband, son, daughter in law and I stayed in this property for a week at Xmas. Overall, our stay was enjoyable. We were very busy with Xmas social activities so the only meals we had at the house, were breakfast. Kitchen was suitably stocked for that. The location is excellent to access the highway, or to get downtown. Communication with the property manager was excellent.
The view from the living room and deck is spectacular across Burrard Inlet to Kitsilano and Point Grey. The house is in walking distance to many coffee shops / bars / restaurants in the upscale Ambleside neighbourhood of West Vancouver. Park Royal mall is a short distance away. The hostess was very responsive to any questions we had. The weather was quite warm for our weekend stay in June - a portable AC unit was provided in the front living room (which has the great view but also full sunshine during the day). Fans were available in all the bedrooms to cool things down a bit. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The downstairs TV room has cable tv and a VCR, the TV in the upstairs living room has netflix and streaming services. Good location, good value, good views, good communication with owner.
This location is perfect for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids or for an adult family (no more than 5 people). We had four adults (3 siblings, one parent), and it was exactly what we needed. Comfortable, location was perfect (you need a car). The house was clean, the host was responsive, and the views were amazing. I loved how we were able to drive in and out of the city and around the surrounding areas with ease. You are close to a very upscale mall and a whole foods. Beaches near by. Our hike at Capilano was amazing. The food is wonderful (don't forget Richmond).
Great location, great views and house was clean. The portable AC does not adequately cool the house and it was hot at night. The main deck could use some attention, some rotten wood and the umbrella is not usable.
Manager was responsive when I called about the AC and house being hot.
A group of five friends attending a conference in Vancouver stayed here to avoid hotel rooms and the traffic of downtown. What a great decision! Unfortunately, it rained most of the five days that we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the incredible views from the porch, but we did sit at the corner windows many, many times just staring out at the scene in front of us. The house was clean, well stocked, and perfect for the number of us. Maya, the property owner/manager, was always responsive when we did have a question, but we didn't have much reason to reach out as there were no issues. It was a short walk to restaurants, shopping (both food and clothing), and coffee shops. When we did have to go downtown, it was a 10 minute Uber ride. I love West Van, and I would highly recommend this house and the location for any trip to Vancouver.

Great views but ...
The views from Beach House were wonderful. From the living room, the dining room and the deck, it was so relaxing just looking at Lions Gate Bridge and the harbor! Enjoyed Park Royal mall as well.
What is mentioned in the property's description is correct. However, out of concern for future guests who may have physical challenges, some details should be added. I had emailed and inquired in advance about stairs, which are challenging for one in our group. I was assured that the master, kitchen and living room are upstairs, so there is no need to go downstairs. Yet, we were not cautioned that there are 15 steps to the front door (the picture shows the top 5 steps).
The stairs to go downstairs has a handrail, but nothing for the first 4 or 5 steps.
The descriptions mention a tub and also a shower downstairs; however, in all fairness, a picture would have shown that it is such a narrow shower.
Maya was apparently out of town and had to call me to respond to any emails. However, when we lost TV reception and a code showed up, I emailed and then called her, but never got a response. We finally did trouble shooting on our own. She never responded.
We were also told that the fireplace has manually been turned off, because the house was being heated already. That was disappointing, because fireplaces do add a wonderful touch at the end of the day.
All in all, a nice neighborhood, awesome views, but it would be appreciated if the owner could be more open about things.
This house was perfect for our family (2 adults and 4 teens) and close to many of the sights we planned to visit. Lots of great restaurants in West Van, just down the street, and a great park on the beach.

As an architect, familiar with the hospitality business, I am appreciative of the high quality renovation but there were several small convenience items missing. Trashcans in the bathrooms for example)I would say, the host is one Ikea trip away from providing accommodation at 4 or 5 stars.Also all beds have to be hotel quality for decent vacation. Not just the main bedroom.
My family attended a wedding on the north shore. This location was easy to get around. Close to shopping and close to Stanley Park. Not to mention the great view from the house. This is a well maintained older home. We enjoyed our stay very much.
