« We recently stayed at Timberline Lodge and was during the same snowstorm when the power was out throughout Arnold. We had lost our car to a tree and made to the Lodge. The manager and her husband were wonderful and very caring. They saw our Expedia reservation come in even with the power out and helped us get setup quickly. We were so grateful to have a cozy warm room with the gas fireplace stove. There was hot water and the room was perfect. When we had delays leaving the next day because of...

« Very much enjoyed the location and proximity to Pinecrest and Twain Harte, the tall windows, fireplace and view. Kitchen was nice and bed very comfortable. The place was very quiet and relaxing. Spiral staircase took some getting used to. We had a fun trip. »

« There aren’t very many options of places to stay while you’re in Murphy’s unless you want to go into Angels Camp or Arnold, but I do think that of the options available this one is a better option. The space was quite clean, large and spacious. We had everything we needed. It is a bit outdated. It’s nice that they give you the option of donuts or a breakfast burrito in the morning, nothing fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but it was nice. As far as the staff, we only encountered 2...
