"Stunning! A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The restaurant was fantastic with excellent breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. A perfect location for touring the area and visiting local towns."

"I came with my mom and it was the perfect place to enjoy the quiety beauty of the Tuscan countryside. The grounds are stunning and enjoying breakfast in the outdoor patio every morning was such a sweet way to start our day. I also cannot commend the staff enough for being so thoughtful in how they manage the property and answered our questions."

"The stay was fine overall, but the road very noisy because of thin windows. Also, even in May, the airconditioning isn't turned on as the hotel still classifies it as "winter" season... so the room was very hot at 26 degrees celcius and no way to cool it. I got a superior room and it was identical to my friends' room who got a standard - so don't bother with the superior."

"Overall, the hotel was clean with good parking near it. However, sometimes the hot water for taking showers did not work well. Also, the TV inside the hotel is relatively small which I believe it needs to be upgraded. But, if you are planning to visit Italy and not pay much, this is a good choice. It's near Florence (~30 min drive in evenings and ~1hr during the rush hour) with plenty of free parking spots near it. It's placed in a not extremely crowded city (Empoli) which is nice. Rooms where quite and housekeeping did a really good job every day. Another point that I have to mention is their internet. EXTREMELY FAST which is a good thing specially for people who are taking business trips."

"Beautiful well maintained location! Amazing views! The breakfast buffet was great and so large! Particularly loved the orange juice and cappuccino machines. The restaurant on site has the same menu for lunch and dinner so pro tip eat lunch at the bar with a different menu if you aren’t going out. The shuttle only goes to San Gimignano and runs at 10, 11:15, 1:30 and 5:15. We wish there was a 3PM option but taking public transport is cheap and easy. This is an amazing place to stay to visit San G. The pool area is beautiful but a hot tub would amazing here! The air conditioning only works at certain times so if staying on property it is off from 8am-2pm and 7-9PM. Rooms can get stuffy during those times but you can open windows/outside doors. The AC is great when it’s on. Overall very beautiful and relaxing and would recommend!"
