Our Japanese-Western style room is very big with 2 beds and comes with an onsen. Onsen is natural spring water and reasonably big for 2 people. Onsen area not too hot as it is ventilated with outside air. We paid for 1/2 board and set dinner was very good. The in-room onsen was nice but needed cooling down to be useable. The "public" onsen was awesome, with a nice variety of tubs/pools and an entertaining geothermal interface. Before landing in the pool, the hot spring water cascaded over a wall of rice straw in pulses like a little geyser. The food was delicious, and the staff gladly refunded our second dinner because we had reservations elsewhere. Also, every room has an ocean view.
