"The house and surrounding were very nice. Exactly as described and had some nice touches left by the management company- extra soap, laundry pods, doggie poop bags. The only concerns were that the keypad on the door was temperamental and didn’t work our entire visit (thankfully there was a key in a lockbox so we could get inside when it was cold and raining) and there were several dishes put away dirty. "My husband and I live in Virginia but have family on China lake. We needed a place to stay for a family get together and we have a large family. The cabin was convenient to other family as well as easy to get to. Great food store near to stock up on goodies for the week. The cabin is clean and roomy. We would recommend it to anyone. J&L"

"Nice apartment with lovely views of Three Mile Pond. Lake access was decent though the paths down are steep. Convenient to shopping in South China and Augusta. The interior was clean and modern. My only complaint was the outdoor floodlight, which could not be switched off by any means we were able to learn about during our stay. When I drive this far from the major cities, I like to enjoy the darkness as much as the quiet. So if you want to see the Milky Way, choose some other Maine vacation...

"The house is new, absolutely immaculate and filled with light. The fully equipped kitchen was a joy to work in. The proximity to both Belfast and Camden was a huge plus. Our 2 dogs loved the open grassy field! A very friendly neighborhood too."

"My sister and I stayed around the corner from our aunt and uncle. We bought things at the co-op but mostly ate with family. It was nice to sit downstairs one evening and watch a Netflix show. Coffee in the morning was easy and the bathroom had just what I needed. The best part was the comfortable bed and quiet location. And the ease of communicating with the host. Definitely will stay there again in the future."

"The property was exactly as represented. It has all the basic necessities. The location was perfect. Right on the lake so we could do our ice fishing right from the porch. Check in and out was easy. The only small downside was the parking. I have a suburban so there was not a lot of space in front of the cottage for it to fit and be completely off the road. I was a little nervous it would get clipped by someone driving by."

The surrounding wildlife esp the bald eagles scoring their breakfast on the lake was just awesome. The home itself is designed for relaxing, playing or a great family meal. "Loved the house design and neighborhood. Comfortable and easy to navigate both inside and out. The place appeared to have been closed up as the air was musty and heavy when we arrived but the windows were easy to open, they had fans, air purifiers etc.I think the wet spring may have added some moisture to their old basement. It's a historical house so maybe that just comes with the territory. Our son graduated from nearby Maine Maritime and it served as a great home base. Thank you!"

"This was our second stop on our family vacation exploring the East Coast. The stay in Belfast was great! There was enough room for our family of five to sleep comfortably. The large yard was a huge benefit for the kids so that they could run around after a day of traveling. We enjoyed the firepit area our first night. The host was quick to reply to questions from the time of booking to the check out."
