"Our room had been given away before we checked in. When we finally got another room it was smaller than the room we originally booked. The table was broke, the tv didn't work, the toilet leaked, and kept running all day and night. The room was very dirty, we found leftover poptarts in the pull out bed. The staff were all polite accept the lady checking us in. She was on her cell phone texting which made us stand there for about 15 minutes."

"Our King size bed was very comfortable and the staff - from the hotel staff to the casino staff - was very friendly and accommodating. Huge kudos to the hotel clerk - Jacquita. She checked us in and ensured we had an extra comforter and water at our request. Her professionalism was exemplary and representative of the Horseshoe brand. "

"I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Southaven, Mississippi over the weekend and had a great experience overall. I spoke with Marshall Collins, the front desk supervisor, and she was absolutely awesome. The front desk staff were also very helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. Housekeeping was excellent. Whenever we asked for extra towels or additional pillows, they brought them right away with no issues at all. The hotel is currently undergoing some renovations. I believe the room we stayed in had already been renovated, which was nice. My only suggestion would be improving the beds and pillows—the pillows could definitely be fluffier and the mattresses a little softer for added comfort. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast. It wasn’t included with my booking, but the breakfast I saw looked really good. One of the workers showed me her plate and it looked delicious! She even told me that the two cooks who work the morning shift do a great job, so I’ll definitely keep that in mind next time. We also weren’t able to use the indoor pool because it was being renovated during our stay, but it’s great that the hotel offers one. Another big plus is the location. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping areas in Southaven and right off the bypass, which made getting around very easy. Overall, my stay was lovely, and I would definitely stay here again. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."

"They do not care what type of room you book, apparently that’s just a suggestion. Booked a king smoking they put us in a king non smoking and when we tried to resolve it each person at the front desk give a different story and in the end when I asked for management to try to resolve the staff were very rude and offered no kind of resolution. "

"My room door was messed up ( hard to slam the door for it to close). My second room had trash at the door. No one never came in remove it. "
