The staff was very accommodating. The room we had needs remodeling. The water from the sink faucet was a trickle but they fixed it. The queen bed was pretty miserable for those who are used to a king bed. There is a lot of history at this hotel which was very interesting. They had a great happy hour from 3-6. All in all it was ok To stay there. We realize it was during the biggest event Tucson has, which is the gem show and there were not very many places that had rooms available. Having moved from Tucson, it was surprising to realize this. The hotels also raised their prices, which I do understand. We have been to the grill ((their very upscale restaurant)) many times before and it did not disappoint us. The food there is wonderful, the ambiance and services were exceptional.
