Near both Old Tucson and the Desert museum. This area offers great hiking trails and the serenity of this unique hideaway The space This home is located 13 minutes to both the Desert museum and Old Tucson. There are many gorgeous hiking trails in this area as well. You will be surrounded by saguaro cactus, ocotillo and many varities of native plants. This is a very comfortable two bedroom, two bath home with a private carport, fenced yard and nice porches on both the back and front of the house. Very quiet and peaceful. Except for the sound of doves, owls, quail and other native birds. If you'd like to experience one of the most beautiful deserts, this is the place for you. My wife and I have been coming to Tucson in the spring for many years, and we always look for secluded homes in the desert. This one was the best in that regard. The desert around it is outstanding. On the inside, furnishings are basic but clean - more than suitable for our needs. We were extremely impressed with how well the house was provisioned, right down to hand cream and toothpaste. And finally, Kristine was an excellent host and very responsive - we had a bad windstorm one day that blew a panel on the front awning loose, and when I messaged her about it, she was there in five minutes to fix it. In the morning, you will be able to enjoy watching the wildlife - little rabbits, lizards, quails, tons of birds scurrying about. It is quiet, secluded, and if you take the drive alongside the national park to get there - you get the bonus of enjoying the majestic site seeing. The host is very responsive, pleasant, informative. The place was very clean. Two bedroom was perfect for myself and my mom who went on a little girls trip. We each had our own space. Fans are in each room, comfortable beds.
