"The area is fairly desolate and far from downtown KC. The hotel is pretty and quiet and they said they were sold out. The rooms are nice and bargain priced. The casino restaurants all close very early, 8 pm. The website hours are wrong. There is also no valet or covered parking. No room service."

"The place might not be exactly what you’re picturing, but that’s perfectly fine! The service and breakfast were the highlights. The hotel is a bit older, with only six floors, but it’s spotless and cozy, plus it’s conveniently located near the highway and airport. The price was reasonable, and the breakfast was all you could ask for. The front desk staff are incredibly patient and kind; the kitchen staff actually prepares the food, and they’re always willing to help out, unlike some places that might tell you the kitchen is closed or breakfast is over. I had a minor issue with my room’s plumbing—the water was running a bit slow—but I only needed to text the front desk, and the bathroom was fixed by the time I returned to my room. Again, being older, there weren’t any USB outlets or multiple outlets, and the TV only had about five to ten channels. The maintenance person came to check it out, apologized for the trouble, and even brought me a multiplex to help out. So, if you’re looking for a comfortable, affordable, and convenient place, this is it. No frills, no gimmicks, just a decent room and some good food."

"unfortunately, the two rooms that we had one of the rooms didn’t have a shower curtain along with no TV remote, 3 inches of water in the sink, spiders in the bathroom, wallpaper peeling, a refrigerator that wouldn’t close and the previous guest’s eardrops on the floor by the window. The other room was out of soap and conditioner. The parking lot had a few parking spots full of trash. After asking for a shower curtain around 11 PM I was told it would be 10 minutes and then that turned into me asking again in the morning and getting it within a few seconds unfortunately the stay was not very good. Probably won’t be back there, it seems like there are other hotels in the area for the same price or less that may have a more attentive to detail driven staff. we are in that area every couple months for cheerleading competitions and hopefully the next trip will have lodging will be better then the last"
