It was large enough to accommodate 6 of us. It was very spacious overall and clean. There was a water issue while we were there, but the owner worked with us to fix it and had people come check on it. Overall, it was a great home base for us. We took advantage of the lovely enclosed porch and the fire pit. There is some road noise as the house is fairly close to Route 14, but we soon got used to it. We were greeted in person by the host and he showed us around and introduced us to Barney, the cat. Mark gave us a very good tour of his wine making facility and we were able to taste the wine. A great learning experience that you don’t normally get. House was somewhat secluded, but that made it very quiet. But still just 5 minutes off the highway. The room was spotless, and the bed was comfy- had everything you need. There are 3 different levels that provide views to the lake. I think I would have liked the balconies best but I chose the suite which was nice. Note this is an older hotel that has been remodeled, and I found no issues at all. There is no room service or phone in the room. It is a quiet area with food options about 6-10 minutes away in the main area of town. everything was closeby."
