Dune Crest Hotel

"It was lovely. High up on a dune .. giving us a nice view of Cape Cod Bay and shoreline cottages on Rt 6A .. minimal yet airy & spacious feeling .. the King bed was very comfortable. We had a balcony & loved having this option to go outside. Parking was right by our units door. They allow pets which for many is a great option. My only suggestion would be that they put in a longer shower curtain - the shower stall was very big but because the curtain was too short water spilled out onto the bathroom floor."

"Nice room overlooking the private beach. Theoretically dogs not allowed on the beach at all hours, but there were many dogs and ours had great fun running in and out of the water. Excellent breakfast. We had a nice leisurely 3 days and the town is totally dog friendly so we were able to dine outside and have our dog with us. Will return again."

Cozy Bayside Cottage With Huge Outdoor Living Space and Private Beach (2313)

"This one-room cottage is cute as a button. The layout of the unit provides everything you need when you need it and tucks away when you don't. The host was easy to communicate with and was a very helpful intermediary between me and the company that delivered my sheets and towels, which are not included in the rental.Perhaps calling the cottage beach front is a matter of semantics. Can you see the beach or the sea from the window? No, but you can see the seagrass that leads to the ocean. From another window you see the wall of the house next door and the hotel behind. The outdoor space is wonderful. I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower.But the devil is in the details. General cleanliness could have been better. The rug was sorely in need of a deep clean and the blanket could have used a spin in the laundry. There was 1/4 inch of hand soap in the bathroom and about the same amount of dish soap in the kitchen. The soap and shampoo dispensers in the outdoor shower were empty. The utensil holder in the dish drainer was dirty. The area under the sink was not clean and I found what appeared to be the lid of a cake box with icing. I was happy to find a flash light for my evening walk to the beach -- unfortunately, the battery was dead. Paper towels or a dishcloth would have helpedMaybe I'm nitpicking, but at this price point I expect a bit more. But with all this said, I would stay here again, but only in the off season,"

"We had a wonderful stay in Provincetown. The house was clean, comfortable, and very convenient to everything we wanted to do. The host was pleasant, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and I would happily recommend it to others visiting Provincetown!"

"The cottage was perfect! Quaint, clean, accessible to the beach and minutes from Ptown or Rte 6. Very pet friendly; think just about every cottage had a pet with them."

"I was lucky to find this house, up to 5 bedrooms (the listings are not always completely clear). It's located at the eastern end of Ptown, just it turns into Truro. Because there is a condo complex across the street (sandcastle Resort), there was a bus stop for the free Ptown shuttle right at the end of the drive. We had 4 couples and a single staying there. and we always felt comfortable. The house was clean and tidy with all appropriate necessities available. Wendy was wonderful as a host - responsive, respectful, and overall just pleasant. We definitely will consider staying in her house again in the future if we visit Ptown with a group."
