"Use this hotel for pre-cruises. Great location and not too far from the city HighStreet area, walking to the ferry or easy access for some great pub/eateries around the corner. Own eatery for breakfast is also quite good and there is the option of eating in the room with your own food if that is your preference. Disappointed this time as the eatery was closed down for the evening due to ??? Staff are very friendly and willing to help you when needed. See you next time when we are cruising out of Southampton !"

Hotel is conveniently located between Bournemouth and Christchurch and has good capacity. Regrettably they have no secure bike storage and don’t permit them to be taken to rooms."

The bath was rusty which meant we relied on the shower which was good. The balcony door wasn’t secure with a flimsy catch. The radiator although not used was very rusty in need of maintenance. The decoration in the public areas was better in general it felt like the hotel needed a refurb"
