"The place is a rental property rather than a hotel. The host Carla was very friendly and responsive. The view was amazing. However, the property could use some serious work. There were holes on the wall, stains on the couch, splashes on the kitchen window shades, mold or stains on bathroom ceiling. The bathroom sink doesn’t work. "What an amazing little piece of paradise! What to choose when waking up in the morning? Pool? Beach? Both? The house was great and had everything that we needed, kitchen was really well stocked, tons of towels, hot water (between 7am-10pm), comfy king beds plus a queen air mattress. The area is not very touristy, safe and quiet, lots of locals around and the beach is pretty quiet, although busier during the Christmas/New Years week, but never crowded. The water is very swimmable with fun waves. Beautiful sunsets! Local macaws and iguanas come to visit. There is a nice restaurant (Costa Linda) 600m (7minute walk) away. There is space to park the car inside the gate and the main road is paved, the last little bit is gravel. Hoyt is an amazing host, so very responsive and helpful. Any questions, simply ask and he will get back to you very promptly. Definitely recommend!"
