The room is very small. We stayed at the mitsui garden in Kyoto and the room was way bigger there. I didn’t like how the concierge desk wasn’t located at the bottom of the building. This made things inconvenient rather than being able to get help on your way in and out. Otherwise it was clean and they had free toiletries to choose from if you forgot yours. The common area patio was smaller than the photos as well and you can bring food or drink to the patio either. I didn’t check out the onsen because I wasn’t comfortable with not being allowed to wear a bathing suit. I also was given many bandages to cover up my tattoos if I chose to go. You can only have one - two bandages in a single tattoo if you have any and they have to be the ones from their front desk.

We had an amazing time. The room was clean with everything that you need in it. Public bath on the roof is a great experience. Most of all the staff is very helpful and will accommodate you to the best of their abilities. We will definitely go back.
