Dream Retreat with Hot Tub, FirePit, Grill and only 15 min to Downtown Chattanooga

"There were a lot of things we really liked about this property but there were a few items that really detracted from the overall experience that were a surprise given the high ratings/reviews. I’d like to provide a fair and balanced review so that others in the future can make a better informed decision then we were afforded. The #1 Pro is that this property is nestled in the woods. Others include a nice main living area and décor, 75" tv, clean inside, new Weber grill, and less than 3 miles from everything we wanted. The #1 Con was very low shower water pressure/hot water which was mentioned by a reviewer in July. That led to sponge baths and washing hair in the sink. The next is much higher volume of traffic/noise than I expected. This road clearly serves more than local traffic. This didn't impact the main living area but did the bedrooms and the firepit. At night headlights penetrated the MB due to shades others have mentioned offer little privacy. It won't flood the room with light but rather be more like a mild strobe effect through the trees. The firepit is THE area to sit outside and the cushions were very stained, dirty and uninviting to sit on. I've had a call with the host to review these items along with some easy fixes and she seemed receptive. So, hopefully she will update the property details with upgrades to these areas coupled with reviews that explicitly state that these issues have been addressed. If so, you'll likely love this property!"

"We had a handicaped shower. It made it nicer not to have to step over the high sides of a tub. The only problem is the drain wasn't in a bettter position and the water ran out onto the bathroom floor. The available breakfast was a bit skimpy. The staff was very helpful and friendly."

"This cottage was in a perfect location. We only had to drive 15-20 minutes for anything we wanted to do! It’s such a quaint setting….makes you feel like you a a million miles away from civilization! Very comfy house…was so fun to sit on the porch and grill! I would recommend this place to everyone! The owner was so very kind and accommodating! Go to Chattanooga and stay at this cute place!"

"Wonderful spot, we had the second story and it gave a beautiful view of the river. Accommodations were great. Little steep driveway to get in, if you blink you might miss it but it gives it charm; less noise, no real traffic. Easy transaction, check in was easy, check out easier. Nice little condo. "Loved this property! Great location on the river, we brought our paddle board and really enjoyed the river being right in the backyard. Fire pit was great also and plenty of firewood provided. Beautiful views from the kitchen and porch as well. Hosts were great!"
