Futons are thin and really old so the bed was really hard even though we had five of them piled up. Ventilation doesn't probably work correctly or it is unsufficient - we had to keep our window open and onsen roof was wet and molded. The hotel is clean and staff friendly. There is not many restaurant options in the area (many restaurants were closed). The inside was functional but uniformly tired and dated. Our room was clean enough but the bedding was stained, the sheets and towels were old and thin. A simple warm air blowing heater kept us comfortably warm (no aircon but not needed in late October). The water went cold after one shower but was hot again by the morning. I reported weak wifi and was given an in-room wired hub which worked; except that on both evenings the hotel’s internet connection dropped out repeatedly.
