"The hotel pool is a mess. It is very clean, however, not organized at all. They tell you that if there is not a reserved sign on the table or chairs then that area is open for general use, however, we sat down at two different areas that WERE NOT reserved and then told we had to move because they were reserved. The weekends are a hot mess, that is when they have all the reservations and it is hard to get a place to sit. There are drink and food minimums for the reservations. I enjoyed it when it was open during the week, not the weekends."

"A very convenient location with lots of eateries of all price levels nearby Our room was comfortable, clean & roomy with a small sectional couch on which to watch TV. Breakfast buffet was larger than most with hot and cold items good for adults & children (though, as it was CMA Fest weekend, small kids were scarce). Danny, behind the bar, was very accommodating, staying a bit later than close to get us a snack with our cocktails. My only issue was that, I believe, the price of our room was gouged due to the festivities happening in town at that time! It was the only weekend our whole family could gather for birthday celebrations though. Will be sure to check for this kind of activity in the future or stay outside of downtown & Uber in for our dinner"

"This was indeed a great place to stay while we were visiting Nashville. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Especially Ms.Tanesha at the check in desk. She was very professional and and polite. She truly made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. We will definitely be coming back again!"

"It was confusing getting to parking at the property. We ended up at another property in the parking garage and calling the host number provided was no help. When explaining we were on the 4th floor she could not understand why we didn’t see key pad near entrance. When finally figuring out we were at the wrong place, we then found the parking entrance right next to the hotel not behind it per se. It was one floor and the host never even knew that. Check in was terrible overall. Everything else was good! Clean and plenty of room!"

"If you're looking for the authentic CMA Fest experience, the Hyatt Vanderbilt Nashville has you covered. For the bargain price of only $425 a night, you can enjoy a very basic hotel experience with just enough cleanliness to keep your immune system guessing. The breakfast area was a particular highlight. The waffle syrup station featured a sticky, gooey substance that appeared to have survived several previous breakfast services untouched. It really added an element of mystery to the meal. The pool area has a charming "seen better days" aesthetic, made even more exciting by what appeared to be a complete lack of security enforcement. Watching people openly doing drugs by the pool certainly wasn't listed among the amenities, but apparently it's included at no extra charge. Special mention goes to the individual in the Sports Illustrated shirt waiting near the front desk, eager to lure guests into a timeshare presentation under less-than-transparent circumstances. Relocating that operation somewhere less intrusive would greatly improve the guest experience. On the bright side, the hotel is well located. A pleasant 45-minute walk gets you to Broadway and all the fun Nashville has to offer. In the end, the city was fantastic. The hotel? Let's just say CMA Fest deserved a better opening act."
