"A beautiful farmhouse shaped like a fortress just outside of Calitri. The host is very accommodating and helped me make some reservations despite not speaking English/my Italian being no good. Waking up to the birds was a treat, the bed was cozy and the shower worked well. It would be fun to have a bunch of friends stay there for a week. Definitely requires a car, I thought maybe one could walk in and out of Calitri but it's an enormous vertical distance, it would take hours."

"Danielle was an excellent host. He met us upon arrival even when we arrived late in the evening and was present every morning at 7:00am, making us a cappuccino and having a breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries, juices and cereal available. He was quick to reply to messages and offered local restaurant recommendations. The air conditioning worked well in the room. Great location near train station."
