#### very good experience and a quality apartment.

A Great location, within walking distance to beaches,restaurants and good shops. We found the apartment was very well furnished, plenty of good appliances and all told very tasteful. We would have no hesitation to recommend it to others and would return again. The staff were most helpful.

#### Okay for a weekend away

It was okay but our room was on the ground floor near the entrance, there were no nets only curtains so it was like being in a gold fish bowl so we kept the curtains closed most of the time, the lounge suite wasn't very clean and it was old. But the staff were lovely

Nice sunny apartment at a good price. Some of the facilities weren't available due to construction was the only do downside. Great location.

#### Excellent facility in prime location

The Ancharage is presently undergoing a facelift to much of the building, however this did not detract from our stay. The studio unit was large and comfortable with all the conveniences we would expect in the best housing. Staff were excellent giving helpful advise and communicated very well. We have recommended the Anchorage Appartments to both friends and family. One of the best accommodation facilities we have had the pleasure of staying at.

#### Close to main shopping area and great views

Unfortunately due to a family bereavement, at short notice we had to request our stay be postponed a week while we attended a funeral. Trevor and Deborah were amazing. Nothing was a problem and their kindness and empathy was greatly appreciated. We had a beautiful room with amazing views of Pilot Bay and the Mount. Thank you to them both. We will certainly be back to visit in the future

very good apartment, great value for money, free undercover parking, no sea views from our rooms but a very short walk to the beach, very handy to all shops and restaurants, have rebooked to stay again. Full kitchens and laundry which you don't get very often in New Zealand.

#### Great apartment in a centreal location

Stayed in a sunny one bed room apartment in winter time and really enjoyed how warm it was. It was a nkrth facing apartment so ideal for winter stays. Has aircin in the lounge but not in the bedroom so it could be quite hot in the summer. The unit was a but noise because of the position of the external motor by the bedroom. Not a biggie but we are sensitve sleepers. Otherwise a great place to stay. We would stay again

When we arrived we were a bit concern for they were recladding the hotel on the one side and was concerned what to expect but, we were very impressed with Trevor at the reception. He made us feel so welcome and went out his way to give us one of the best rooms. He was very friendly and made us feel very at ease. I told my friends about how friendly he was and the lovely room we got. Hotel is close to everything. I will definitely stay there again. Colleen

Half of the hotel was under renovation so I was booked into the old existing section. I understand why they are renovating it. Old and out-dated.
